AQUATILIBUS Inspired by the first book on ichthyology, De Aquatilibus by Pierre Belon published in 1533, Carnovsky presents in the Spazio Diaz venue an installation with a series of new RGB artworks on the theme of the sea depths and the magnificent creatures that live in the oceans. Fish, mollusks, seahorses, jellyfish and even real or imaginary monsters. It is an installation that immerses the viewer in an aquatic, multifaceted and changing world through the use of colored lights that transform the space into a multicolored and dreamlike universe. It is also an installation that works on the concept of softness: softness of the artworks on one hand, for the nuances of the RGB artworks which are pictorial for the first time and on another hand for the softness of the materials which are fabrics, curtains, carpets.
